Information Collection And Use – Email Subscribers and GDPR

Email Subscribers is a free plugin on WordPress.org. That means all data of Email Subscribers is stored on our end. The Email Subscribers do not store any of your personal data on their site. This article explains you what data Email Subscribers stores on our end.

What data Email Subscribers stores on our end?

Email Subscribers creates following tables in our database on plugin activation:

  • {prefix}es_emaillist: This has all our subscribers information
  • {prefix}es_notification: This has all the post notification that we create to send new blog notification
  • {prefix}es_sentdetails: This is a logs which has information about post notification and newsletter emails that we have sent
  • {prefix}es_deliverreport: This is a detailed logs which has information about post notification and newsletter emails that we have sent

Additionally, as Templates is Custom Post Type, all the templates that we create (for newsletter or post notification) are stored in WordPress Post & Postmeta table.

If a visitor wishes to subscribe our website for the blog, news & updates user will be asked to provide their e-mail address. This information will be used only to send the blog, news & updates when issued, and for no other purpose. To end the subscription, the user may “unsubscribe” on our site. After completing an unsubscribe request, the user’s e-mail address will be removed from the mailing list and no further issues of the blog, news & updates will be sent.

When you subscribe for blog, news & updates, your personally identifiable information will be stored in {prefix}es_emaillist: as stated above in our Word Press admin console that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) may include, but is not limited to:

  • Name
  • Email address

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
